Universities should lead the battle against poverty through entrepreneurship

Michael Morris, Professor of the Practice with the Keough School of Global of Affairs and leader in the field of Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation recently gave a talk at the Entrepreneurship Development in Higher Education (EDHE) Lekgotla virtual conference that focused on new ways of thinking about concepts as a way of finding solutions to world problems. 

"I have a profound belief that universities should be on the front lines of the battle against poverty through entrepreneurship," said Morris, as he discussed his vision for "re-imagin[ing] new ways of alleviating poverty."
