Simba Mubvuma

LLM Candidate at Notre Dame Law School

Simba Mubvuma is a lawyer and entrepreneur from Zimbabwe. Currently an LLM student at Notre Dame Law School,  Mubvuma was the Head of Innovation at Lexware Inc, a legal software startup that provides affordable legal services to small enterprises and start-ups. Mubvuma received his law degree from the University of Zimbabwe, where he served as an editor for the student law review and represented the university in the Jessup International Law Moot Court. He is also a Mandela Washington Fellow under the US State Department's Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), and has been named by Forbes Africa as a "30 Under 30" in Technology. As part of his LLM degree,  Mubvuma is taking the Business on the Frontlines course in the Mendoza College of Business, where he is working with the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) to discover methods to support green businesses in Tajikistan.

As a visiting associate within the Pulte Institute, Mubvuma will use his insights and research from working with AKDN  to prepare a policy brief on how Tajikistan can accomplish a just energy transition for its people.
