Mr. Smith began his work on a report on sex-and-gender-based violence (SGBV), affecting women and girls and forced migration from the Northern Triangle countries of Central America. This project will present the successes and challenges associated with providing U.S. foreign assistance to prevent SGBV in these areas. The report will present clear policy recommendations regarding more effective U.S. funding in the region.
