In an effort to strategically address the high rate of illiteracy in Haiti, the Episcopal Commission for Catholic Education (CEEC) implements primary teacher training, providing a train-the-trainers approach to strengthen regional teacher training capacity at the regional level. The project aims to provide training to 800 teachers throughout Haiti. CEEC will address school leadership, the hiring of quality teachers, and the school's financial management.

The Pulte Institute provided an evaluation of the project, providing insight on the extent of the impact on local populations, particularly as it pertains to the project's five main points of intervention: the training of primary teachers, secondary teachers, and supervisors, community engagement in the education process, and the improvement of infrastructure and materials provided to schools participating in the project.
