Ed Waisanen

Ed Waisanen serves as product and instructional design lead at the Pulte Institute, leading development of Gala (www.learngala.com), an open source platform for learning modules and case studies. His work focuses on open tools and communities that support dynamic, collaborative, learning and curriculum development.

Before coming to the Pulte Institute, Ed served in a similar role at the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability. He holds a master's degree from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment with a specialization in Environmental Policy and Environmental Informatics and served as a community natural resources advisor as a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin.
