Dr. Paul Perrin, Evidence and Learning Director at the Pulte Institute, recently joined USAID’s Agency Chief Scientist Dr. Ticora V. Jones in an installment of the “Conversations at the Intersection: Leveraging Scientific Research to Strengthen the Development Evidence Base” seminar series.
In the webinar, Perrin shared an overview of the role of evidence syntheses in informing decision-making and highlighted the Research for Development Evidence Gap Map. He also presented findings relevant to some of USAID’s research themes—effective partnership approaches in international research, capacity building for research translation, and research financing.
