Join us for a panel discussion on the future of global development work. This is an exciting and challenging time for those in the global development space. However, leaders need knowledge, insight, and collaboration to help ensure success, which is why the Keough School and its Pulte Institute for Global Development are joining forces to host a panel discussion at the Washington Office, 1400 16th St. NW, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on May 25 titled, “The Power of Dignity in Global Development.”

The conversation will center around the work of the late Fazle Hasan Abed, the founder of Bangladesh-based BRAC, the world’s largest NGO. BRAC entered the vegetable seed business to provide better-quality seeds to poor vegetable cultivators. Hasan Abed emphasized that both businesses and nonprofits could positively impact society.

Panels include:

Scott MacMillan, BRAC USA Director of Learning and Innovation; Paul Perrin, Pulte Institute Director of Evidence, Shannon Senefeld, Catholic Relief Services Senior VP, Overseas Operations; Mercy Tenbon, World Bank VP and Corporate Secretary
