Tushi Baul works as a monitoring and evaluation specialist within the Pulte Institute for Global Development's Evidence and Learning Division. Her research interests include agriculture, development, labor markets, and social networks. Additionally, she has extensive experience developing and conducting in-field and lab-in-field experiments, primarily in India.
Prior to joining the Pulte Institute, Baul was a visiting assistant research professor at New York University Abu Dhabi. She also previously served as a consultant at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab's (J-PAL) regional center in South Asia. At J-PAL South Asia, she worked as a co-PI on an impact evaluation related to technology adoption by farmers in Bihar, India.
Baul holds a Ph.D. in economics from Iowa State University and a master's in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
