Andrea McMerty-Brummer

Associate Director, Innovation and Practice

Andrea McMerty-Brummer has helped oversee educational institutions and programs for the past 20 years. During this time, she dedicated 10 years to managing a childcare center in Honduras, paired with a primary and secondary school. Similarly, she managed a major pedagogical transition of a private primary school in the Minneapolis area. 

Andrea’s executive leadership achievements demonstrate her passion for and dedication to leading transformative organizational change and strengthening the human and financial resources of primary and secondary education-focused nonprofits.

Her key competencies include grassroots education innovations, financial modeling, budgeting, strategic planning, organizational change, leadership development, succession planning, human and financial resources development, and performance evaluation/management.

Andrea has a Masters in Nonprofit Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Government, both from the University of Notre Dame.
