And, they’re off!

As thousands of students say goodbye to the spring semester here on campus, several of our USAID | Notre Dame Global Development Fellows have packed their bags and are arriving in their host countries for their fellowships.

So far, three of our fellows have begun their work: Annette Ruth, researching T. cruzi motility in Bogota, Colombia, Craig Iffland, researching humanitarian law in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Cecilia Lero, working on the Varieties of Democracy project in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

With seven more fellows leaving within the next four months, we look forward to receiving many stories and pictures about the interesting and diverse work that our fellows are doing in the field. We’ll keep you up to date!
